As the X-phone is looking like an also ran, me too phone, who is thinking about skipping it and jumping to an Ultra instead:

Motorola Droid (Razr) Ultra series (June 26, 2013)
Verizon may introduce a new line of Motorola Droid models in the coming months, according to a number of reports. Both @evleaks and Droid Life received tips about Droid Ultra, Droid Ultra Maxx, Droid Razr Ultra and Droid Razr M Ultra, and Droid Ultra Mini models. Interestingly, one site didn't reference any "Razr" branding; Motorola is rumored to bid farewell to a number of initiatives in the coming weeks, including Razr.

It better be a beast or a lot of us will stay home with wallets ...cool

I'm stayin' home with my wallet until the right beasty, evil-techy-looking, powerhouse of a device lures me to the brink of madness.

Or else I'll be tempted by every new device on the market.

      You never know...   wink

A strong built, large battery, 2+ GB ram, CPU snapdragon 600+/tegra 4, newest android OS, high res screen(4.5 to 5 w/very small bezel), good camera, thin and good looking would do it for me. I'm not needy or anything.

Personally, I don't think you're being demanding enough.  Wish bigger and negotiate down if you have to.  wink

      More Ultra rumors:

I am not convinced that this is the Ultra as there is no 802.11ac or USB 3.0 compatiblity shown ...

If you go to moto site and search ultra you get this! The link takes you to a page that says "curious what we are up to? Sign up for updates"
    • Swoops

A google search for "Droid ultra android smartphone" pulls up the same link from the moto site

My patience for proof-reading is not what it used to be, but those specs are word-for-word the M's specs on the Moto site.  So I don't buy it either.

That seems to be the general opinion out there (hence the placeholder comments)...

Here's hoping that they are replaced with very attractive specs soon.
